Counsellor
Born with a hearing loss, I am the first ever deaf-mute counsellor in Singapore. I overcame numerous hurdles to obtain a Diploma in IT from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and I pursued a counseling degree and obtained a certificate in peer support, driven by the belief that mental health is a cornerstone of well-being, yet often overlooked in modern society. In my career, I've personally confronted burnout and workplace abuse, experiences that deepened my understanding of the importance of mental health. This realization led me to embark on a new path, one that I am truly passionate about.
My unique perspective, shaped by personal challenges and professional experiences, empowers me to connect with individuals on a profound level. I am a firm believer in going the extra mile to support others, regardless of their disabilities. My commitment to promoting mental health and well-being is unwavering, and I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome their own obstacles and achieve their personal and emotional goals. Together, we can work towards a brighter and more resilient future." I am passionate about the pursuit of mental health, so I believe in going the extra mile to help others regardless of disabilities.
