Counseling for children and teens helps young people address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. It offers guidance for managing stress, building coping skills, improving relationships, and developing emotional resilience, promoting mental well-being and personal growth during critical developmental stages.
Adult and adolescent psychological assessments evaluate mental health, cognitive abilities, and emotional well-being. These assessments help diagnose conditions like anxiety, depression, or ADHD, guide treatment plans, and provide insights into personal strengths, challenges, and overall psychological functioning.
We provides individualised therapy at the comfort and familiar environment using Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) techniques. ABA, the strong evidenced-based therapy break downs goals into manageable steps according to your child's strengths and needs.
Support during the critical early years helps children overcome developmental delays, learning difficulties, or emotional challenges. This proactive approach enhances growth, builds essential skills, and prevents long-term issues, ensuring a solid foundation for future academic, social, and emotional success.
Through structured play, children can express their emotions, work through challenges, and develop coping skills. This therapeutic approach provides a safe space for self-expression, helping children process feelings, build resilience, and promote emotional healing in a supportive environment.
Psychological evaluations assess cognitive abilities, emotional health, and behaviour, helping to identify developmental delays, learning difficulties, or mental health concerns. These assessments provide valuable insights to guide interventions, support personalized treatment plans, and promote overall well-being and personal growth.
How much does a session cost?

Children's ABA therapy sessions are priced between $120 and $150 per session.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts 60 minutes, and any extensions will be charged on a prorated basis.
When do I need to see a psychologist or counsellor?
Visit a therapist when facing mental health challenges, emotional distress, trauma, or life transitions. Therapy offers support, coping strategies, and personal growth to enhance resilience and overall well-being.
Is there a specific number of therapy sessions needed to get better?
The number of therapy sessions varies based on individual needs, goals, and the nature of the issue. Some may need fewer sessions, while others with deeper concerns may require ongoing support.
Your therapist can help provide an estimate based on your situation, but therapy is often an ongoing process that adjusts as progress is made.
If I am sending my child to Ambrave, may I sit in the session together with them?
Parents of minor clients are encouraged to join the initial part of the first session. This time helps parents understand the therapy process, raise questions, and discuss concerns. The therapist may outline the treatment plan and suggest ways parents can support their child at home.
Following this, children are encouraged to participate in individual therapy. However, depending on the child’s comfort level or the therapist’s recommendation, parental involvement may be adjusted.
Our approach is adaptable, prioritizing the child’s needs, privacy, and trust. Information shared with the therapist remains confidential unless the child consents to share it with parents.
How do I know if my child needs therapy, and how can I best support them in the process?
If your child experiences persistent emotional struggles, behavioral changes, or difficulty coping, therapy may help. Support them by listening, being patient, and encouraging open communication. Collaborate with the therapist to ensure the best approach for your child’s needs.
Can I change therapists if I feel it's not a good fit?
Yes, you can change therapists if you feel it's not a good fit. It's important to feel comfortable and supported in therapy. Discuss your concerns with your current therapist, or reach out to our customer support team at info.ambrave@gmail.com.
We’ll work with you to understand your preferences and help you find a therapist who better aligns with your needs, ensuring you feel supported and comfortable throughout your therapy journey.
How is confidentiality maintained?
Confidentiality is maintained by ensuring that all information shared in therapy is kept private, unless the client provides consent to share it. Therapists are legally and ethically bound to protect client privacy, with exceptions only in cases of harm to self or others, or when required by law.
